MidPoint 3.9 and later
This feature is available only in midPoint 3.9 and later.
Post-initial import works in a similar manner to initial data import. Post-initial import imports files and executes bulk action scrips from MP_HOME/post-initial-objects directory. If the directory does not exist after starting of Midpoint, it will be created.
The suffix .done
is appended to the name of each file after importing/executing. Files with the suffix .done
will not be imported/executed during the next start of Midpoint. We can have several subdirectories within MP_HOME/post-initial-objects
, in which we have various xml files with objects to import or bulk action scripts to execute. The name of each file begins with a three-digit number (that determines its order of processing) and its own name - for example 010-end-user.xml
. The order is global for all files in all directories. If an object already exists then it will be overwritten.
Example
Directories:
->post-initial-objects
->roles
010-role-1.xml
030-role-2.xml
->scripts
040-script-1.xml
060-script-2.xml
->resources
020-resource-1.xml
050-resource-2.xml
Order during procesing:
010-role-1.xml
020-resource-1.xml
030-role-2.xml
040-script-1.xml
050-resource-2.xml
060-script-2.xml
